THE AB INITIO PACKAGE

Our Ab Initio package will provide the inexperienced student with all of the necessary training to gain the JAA Frozen Air Transport Pilot Licence.

You will train in the US for a total of 3 months and the UK for the remaining 9 months. In the US you will obtain an FAA Private Pilot Licence with a Multi Engine / Instrument Rating and gain the necessary flight experience . In the UK you will obtain the JAA Commercial Pilot Licence with a Multi Engine / Instrument Rating and pass the JAA ATPL Theoretical Knowledge Examinations.

The package is structured into the following courses:

FAA Private Pilot Licence	at Riverside Flight Center	6 weeks
JAA ATPL Theoretical Knowledge	at your home, London or Glasgow	27 weeks
Flight Experience (100 hours Pilot in Command)	at Riverside Flight Center	4 weeks
FAA Private Multi Engine/Instrument Ratings	at Riverside Flight Center	5 weeks
JAA Multi Engine/Instrument Rating Conversion	at Airways Flight Training	3 weeks
JAA Commercial Pilot Licence	at Airways Flight Training	3 weeks
