JAA PROFESSIONAL FLIGHT TRAINING

Riverside Flight Center operates in association with Airways Fight Training to provide low cost, high quality flight training that will enable you to obtain a European Joint Aviation Authorities (JAA) Professional Licence.Your ground training will be at your home using the Bristol Ground School distance learning course. As an option you may train on a residential course at either London Metropolitan University, or Glasgow College of Nautical Studies.

You will gain a JAA Commercial Licence with Multi Engine Type Rating and an Instrument Rating. You will have passed the JAA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) Theoretical Knowledge Examinations and have over 200 hours of flight experience. This qualification is known as the Frozen ATPL and is the basic qualification required to seek employment with the European airlines.

You will pay a very competitive price for this training as you will fly mostly in the US where training costs are less than half that of the EU. The residential courses are subsidised by the UK government and exempt from value added tax.

The quality of your training is assured by our approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States of America and the Civil Aviation Authority of the United Kingdom.
